EDEL O'REILLY

Edel O'Reilly has complemented her BFA from Crawford College of Art & Design with curatorial education in masterclasses, conferences, and symposiums. She has accumulated a comprehensive professional curatorial experience, shaped by her involvement in artist-led initiatives and collaborative production models in self-organised frameworks. Some of her most salient projects have been produced in the framework of Catalyst Arts in Belfast, an initiative of which she is co-director, which has given her the opportunity to develop collaborations with artists in and outside the gallery space. Her work has been further cemented by her experience as project liaison manager with curator Sarah McCrory at Frieze London. Edel has enjoyed various residency programmes both in the UK and in China; she has been part of a number of artist’s talks and panel discussions; and has received funding from numerous art organisations.
