To celebrate the creative spirit of the neighbourhood we live, work and play in, Banksiders have been invited to reveal something of their personalities by displaying messages in their windows.
Joining the Bankside community, selected artists have contributed their own new works which are displayed throughout the area.
From The Other Side is commissioned by Better Bankside and Tate Modern’s community team.
Array was established in 1994 by a group of early career artists intent on making a difference to the world of visual art in Belfast. Over the past 20 years Array has seen a vast number of artists come through the doors. Array’s collaborative actions use a DIY sensibility in response to the socio-political issues affecting Northern Ireland. Spot their work in the window of one of Borough Market’s much-loved pubs, a message in Gaelic that translates to “Themuns Get Everything” – Northern Irish dialect for “them ones.”
